Campaign Submission Guidelines

Participant Eligibility

This campaign is open to all architects holding valid credentials, including full and graduate / student members of AIA Hong Kong, RIBA, and HKIA.

A new public submission channel is now open—outstanding non-architect photos may be exhibited, but will not be eligible for final awards.

Submission limit

Each participant may submit up to THREE photos, but only ONE will be selected for an award.

Please note: Participants must submit their photos separately, one per submission.

Photograph type

Photos must be original and taken by the participant. Reasonable post-processing such as color correction, cropping, filters, and perspective adjustments is allowed.

We do not accept screenshots, in-game captures, composite art or content created by AI generative models.

The minimum size

The photograph must be at least 3MB and 2,000px in dimensions.

Campaign photograph standards

We don't accept photos that are over-edited, unclear or contain excess spotting (marks made by water or dirt on the lens at the time the photo was taken).

Please make sure the photograph doesn't contain nudity or violence.

Please do not remove the EXIF data from your photograph, as entries without it may be considered invalid.

Permissions

You must be the original photographer of and own the rights to any photo.

Some things to consider

• Photos containing celebrities, performers and sports person typically have additional privacy rights or corporate sponsorships that prohibit any person or company to profit from their image.
• Architecture, galleries and museums often have policies that cover how images may be used. Please do your own research to ensure you have relevant permissions for both personal and commercial uses.
• Respect people's right to privacy and respect the vulnerable.
• Please ensure that the photo was taken by yourself.
• Photos do not have borders, graphics, text or watermarks overlaid on them.Avoid adding these elements in post-production.
